MEL Group is the first certified boiler manufacturer in Bangladesh and the only boiler exporter from Bangladesh. Our core business areas include Boilers, Pumps & Sanitary Ware as well as Energy Efficiency projects, Water Treatment systems, Fire Fighting systems etc.
We started out as Modern Erection Limited in 1983 with a focus on maintenance services for steam boilers. As our reputation grew and the demand increased, we quickly became the pioneer local boiler manufacturer in Bangladesh. From humble beginning as a small business, it’s now the only boiler exporter to the Australian market and the largest steam boiler manufacturers in the country.
In 1995, we expanded our operations to include energy auditing and efficiency & conservation services when Modern Erection (IS) limited was formed as part of MEL Group. Then seven years later in 2002, we formed Modern Electrical Works Limited (MEWL), which handles marketing & sales for MARQUIS branded Energy Saving Pumps and Premium Sanitary Ware across 64 districts in Bangladesh.

We are pleased to share that as part of celebrating 40 years in 2023, the MEL Group has unveiled its new logo with the presence of our esteemed Chairman Engr. Jawaherul Ghani, Managing Partner & Founding Director Alhaz Noor Mohammad, Director of MEL Group Engr. Bayzid Ghani and Mohammad Zakir Hossain along with other officials.
